Records are meant to be broken. But it comes as a surprise when children in tender age do so. Here is a list of some smart and intelligent children who created Asian and Indian records and made India proud:

G. Tanvika – youngest kid to recite Aditya Hrudayam stotram

Born on August 22, 2017, G. Tanvika from Hospet, Karnataka holds the record for being the youngest to recite the complete Aditya Hrudyam stotram in 3 minutes and 41 seconds at the age of 3 years, 10 months and 3 days on June 25, 2021. This feat got her the title of Grand Master and a mention in the Asia book of records.

The Aditya Hridayam Stotram is a powerful mantra where Aditya stands for Sun and Hridayam means Heart. Its chant is believed to help people win over any difficulty. In simple words, Aditya Hridaya Stotra gives miraculous success in every situation.

The Aditya-Hridyam Hymn is part of the Yuddha Kanda of Valmiki Ramayana and contains 31 slokas. The Aditya Hridayam was recited by the great sage Agastya to Lord Rama on the battlefield just before he was getting ready to fight Ravana. The mystical hymn is directed to Sun God, the lord of all victories.

Vaishika Satheshwaran – wrote a fiction book on space travel at the age of 6

The record for being the youngest writer to write a fiction book on space travel was set by 6-year-old Vaishika Satheshwaran from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu on December 15, 2020. The book titled My Dream Journey to Space is about a young girl’s daring adventures in space and was published on September 24, 2020. The colourful 26-page book is for children in the age group of 6 to 10 years to make them understand facts about the space.

Varun Karthikeyan -Fastest child to solve Brainvita game

11-year-old Varun Karthikeyan from Chennai made it to the coveted India book of records when she became the fastest child to solve the Brainvita game.  He completed the game in just 27 seconds and 7 milliseconds on August 9, 2021.

Previously the record for being the fastest to solve the Brainvita game was set on May 29, 2021, by 5 years and 9 months old Aaranya Arunganesh from Chennai completed the game in 50 seconds.

Kapa Sai Pranavi – recited all elements of the periodic table while hula hooping

11 years and 9 months old Kapa Sai Pranavi from Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh holds the record for being the fastest to recite all the elements of the periodic table while hula hooping. She recited all the 118 elements of the periodic table in 43 seconds and 50 milliseconds on January 23, 2021.

Curiously Daksh Choudhary from Jodhpur recited the periodic table in 48.34 seconds that too while standing on one leg. Daksh Choudhary also held the record for reciting the periodic table while standing on his father’s shoulders in one minute, 18.25 seconds.

Aliza Zaheen Khan – the mini knowledge bank

Five-year-old Aliza Zaheen Khan from Andhra Pradesh can recognize and differentiate between Presidents of India, Prime Ministers, A to Z alphabets, 1 to 10 numbers, 36 animals, birds, 18 fruits and vegetables.

Hitansh Kunal Gohil- the Youngest to solve 6 x 6 Sudoku puzzles

Six-year-old Hitansh Kunal Gohil from Mumbai holds the record for being the Youngest to solve 6 x 6 Sudoku puzzles. He solved 18 Sudoku puzzles (6 x 6) non-stop in 30 minutes and 40 seconds, at the age of 5 years, 2 months and 5 days on December 12, 2020.

Abhinav Nair— identifying the maximum number of cricketers in one minute

The record for identifying the maximum number of cricketers in one minute was set by Abhinav Nair K.P. from Kozhikode, Kerala. He identified 67 IPL Cricket players in one minute, at the age of 6 years and 11 months on April 6, 2021.

Vanya – fastest recitation of all countries by a toddler

The record for being the fastest to recite the names of all the countries was set by three years old Vanya from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. She recited the names of 195 countries, with the respective continents, in 4 minutes and 56 seconds.

Advik Kumat – the youngest to recite 500 digits of Pi

The record for being the youngest to recite 500 digits of Pi value was set by nine-year-old Advik Kumat from Vadodara, Gujarat. He recited 500 digits of Pi value in 2 minutes, 22 seconds and 44 milliseconds on March 5, 2021.

Prerna Garg – the maximum number of words upside down

The record for writing the maximum number of words upside down ambidextrously in mirror writing was set by 19 years old Prerna Garg from Panchkula, Haryana on February 25, 2021. She wrote 17 words upside down in mirror writing using both hands at the same time in just 30 seconds.

Ayana Jain– the youngest kid to solve 9- digit addition and subtraction sums

The record for being the youngest kid to solve 9- digit addition and subtraction sums was set by four-year-old Ayana Jain from Indore, Madhya Pradesh on February 25, 2021. She accurately solved 5 addition and 5 subtraction 9-digit sums in 11 minutes and 8 minutes respectively.

Tejas K. – Fastest kid to recite the entire Vishnu Sahasranamam

The record for being the fastest to recite the entire Vishnu Sahasranamam was set by 9-year-old Tejas K. of Hospet, Karnataka on July 13, 2021. He recited 108 shlokas of Vishnu Sahasranamam (in the Sanskrit language) in 11 minutes and 12 seconds.

K. Tanishka – maximum animal sounds produced in one minute

The record for producing the maximum number of animal sounds in one minute was set by five-year-old K. Tanishka from Chennai who produced the sounds of 48 animals including snake, fox, zebra, lion, frog and crab.

Amna Nadia Salam– the teenager who baked the maximum number of pastries

The maximum number of pastries baked by a teen is 160. This record was set by fifteen-year-old Amna Nadia Salam from Ahmedabad, Gujarat on January 28, 2021.
