Yashpal Singh, Deputy Cane Commissioner, Meerut Region conducted a detailed 44-point inspection of the Cooperative Cane Development Society, Simbhawali, District Hapur, to review its financial, administrative, and operational systems.

During the inspection, records including Cash Book, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation Statements, Fixed Deposit Receipts (FDRs), Asset Registers, Attendance Records, Annual Accounts, and other financial documents were examined. The functioning of the Farm Machinery Bank and progress of development works were also reviewed.
Singh emphasized proper financial management, accurate record maintenance, and adherence to prescribed procedures. He issued necessary directions to strengthen financial discipline and institutional accountability.
Records related to staff assignments were also cross-verified, and instructions were given to rectify deficiencies identified during the inspection. He reiterated that efficient functioning of Cooperative Cane Development Societies is essential for delivering quality services to sugarcane farmers and ensuring effective implementation of departmental programs.
