Born on 24 March 2004, in Bhagalpur, Bihar Sanchita Basu has already made a name for herself in South Indian cinema and is slowly but surely inching her way to stardom.
19-year-old Sanchita Basu– started her career as an actress in Till Theke Tal (1985) a romantic Bengali-language comedy Produced by Arun Kumar Basu and Directed by Shantimoy Bannerjee.
Aloka Ganguly and Sabitri Chatterjee play the lead role in the movie released on 6th December 1985.
Sanchita got her next opportunity seven years later when Vamshidhar Goud and Lakshmi Narayana Puttamchetty cast her in First Day First Show (2022) a Telugu comedy-drama film opposite Srikanth Reddy as the main lead.
The feature film is produced by Srija Edida and the music is composed by Radhan.
Poornodaya Pictures – the production house established in 1976 by Sri Edida Nageswara Rao is well known for backing some of Indian cinema’s most memorable classics.
Family
Born in the family of Shailendra Kumar Yadav a businessman and Veena Rai, Sanchita has one sister and a brother. Her family is originally from the Sahasra district of Bihar but currently resides in Bhagalpur. Her mother Veena Rai is a national-level athlete, who right from the beginning wanted her daughter to be a doctor.

Life was not a bed of roses for Sanchita Basu who started her career with Tik Tok and used to post videos on Tiktok every day. People liked his videos very much but then her luck ran out when Tik Tok was banned in India.
So she started making Instagram and has by now been able to rope in 2.3 m followers on her Instagram account.
Education
Sanchita completed her elementary education at a private school and intermediate at Mount Carmel School and is currently completing her graduation from Bhagalpur University.
