An ideal teacher is first and foremost ideal student, someone who practices what he preaches and preaches what he does practice. Lord Krishna attaches lot of importance to three things -- guru (teacher), shastra (scripture), and sadhu (serious students). According to him finding the ideal teacher is difficult but not impossible. When the student is ready, Krishna will guide him to a teacher who in turn will lead him to Krishna.
