JK Khanna, IPS (Retd)
J K Khanna, IPS (Retd), is a 1974-batch Bihar cadre officer who retired as Director General of Police, Bihar. An M.Sc. in Physics from IIT Delhi and LL.B., he was a Panjab University gold medallist in B.Sc. for breaking all previous records. He is the founder Secretary of the Forum of Retired IPS Officers (FORIPSO), and has led several landmark campaigns on pay, pension and service parity for police pensioners, writing regularly on police reforms, governance and pension justice.
