Are BJP and Sangh heading for a change in Delhi?

Something seems to be amiss between the BJP and RSS.

Last year BJP National President J P Nadda was quoted as saying that ‘RSS is not needed’? Did he actually mean that BJP can do without the RSS?

Nadda, immediately retracted and tried to clarify that he actually meant to say that BJP doesn’t need the RSS in the way it used to. He explained that the RSS is a socio-cultural organization, while the BJP is a political party, and both have different roles.

“We have grown. Everyone has got their own work. RSS is a cultural organisation, and we are a political organisation… Today, we have grown and we are capable. The BJP runs itself. That’s the difference”, Nadda said.

Nadda’s comments were made in response to a question about the relationship between the BJP and RSS, and whether the BJP still needs the RSS. He emphasized that it’s not a question of need, but rather a matter of different organizations working towards the same goal in their respective domains. The RSS focuses on socio-cultural issues, while the BJP works on political fronts to take India to new heights of progress.

Some opposition leaders and journalists interpreted Nadda’s statement as the BJP distancing itself from the RSS. However, Sunil Ambekar, a senior RSS functionary, downplayed the idea of a rift, saying that such issues are “family matters” not meant for public discourse

The sudden cancellation of the Prime Minister’s visit to Jammu and Kashmir, the sudden cancellation of the Home Minister’s visit, and the presence of prominent BJP leaders and Sangh leadership from other states including Governor Anandi Ben Patel from Uttar Pradesh in Delhi, and the continuous meetings are pointing towards a new political strategy.

In fact, these are some such signs which are pointing and also raising the question that has the country’s politics suddenly started taking a turn?

This is not happening only for the change of the new National President of the BJP, rather, all this seems to be an exercise being done in view of an even bigger change, because the entire leadership of the Sangh Parivar is also gathered in Delhi.

So what is going to happen?

Will the leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Sangh together make changes in the ministers/leaders of some states including the Chief Ministers of the states apart from the Union Cabinet? Will this have an impact on the Chief Ministers with slips as well? If this happens, then the Gujarat lobby will surely be directly affected.

What kind of change is being tried to bring about? Because, there are even reports that 8 to 10 big Union Ministers may be removed from the cabinet and sent to the organization or may even be put on hold.

In fact, senior leaders of many states of the Bharatiya Janata Party are very angry with their neglect and they are not getting along well with the Chief Ministers of their own party, including the officials, which had become very necessary to correct and coordinate in a coherent manner. Is this sudden round of meetings of the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Sangh a step being taken in the direction of that improvement?

Are the leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Sangh trying to formulate a strategy to provide stability to the country so as to maintain the faith of the people in them by forming a group that will provide stability?

Anyway, the people of the country want stability in every area and want immediate relief from all the absurd decisions.
