A few years back a movie had released wherein the main lead used to curse God every now and then for his sufferings. One fine day God appeared and offered him to be in his seat for 24 Hours & enjoy all his Supreme Powers. The man got excited and readily grabbed the offer, however much to his surprise, he found that being Almighty was not exactly what he had thought or imagined.
In fact, he found end number of messages/emails which were full of complaints, hatred & negativities. In the end, he realized how difficult it is for the Almighty to tolerate humans & finally he surrendered to the Supreme. The moral of the story is that ‘Humans can’t be God’ no matter how smart they become.
If we closely observe within as well as around ourselves, we would find that almost all of us irritate God endlessly by constantly complaining about him or bargaining with him. For example, we complain & crib all the time about our state of being, our family, our office, our job, the list goes on and on.. we also bargain with him that if he fulfils this wish of ours’s, then we would do that if he doesn’t do this, then we do that.
Just imagine the level of our shamelessness when some of us very casually say ‘So what? It is purely human to forget the promises as promises are made to be broken. Wow! How would this sound if someone betrays us & leaves us in the lurch? Would we still be forgiving towards such betrayers? The list of such betrayals would be infinite if at all God thinks about counting it because we all are experts at breaking promises we made to HIM, aren’t we? Of course, we are! Well!! but what is it about us that makes us so selfish & what is it about him that makes HIM so selfless and altruistic?
The answer to this lies in one word i.e. Unlimited, YES!! We, humans, are limited in our thoughts & actions, but Almighty who is Ocean of Love is an Unlimited source that keeps on showering his love, compassion & blessings on his children. Though HE understands every trick of the book that we humans use against him in spite of all our cheatings & betrayals, he remains Innocent and keeps on giving fresh chances to us in order to sustain our self-esteem.
Where would one find such an entity? Just look around and see if there is someone like HIM, we won’t find any human with such magnanimity. It’s impossible because humans are always restricted to self-interest whereas Almighty is always concerned about the interests of his beloved children. We carry so much burden of other’s deception, perfidy, treachery on our mind whereas HE always remains light by just Forgiving every sinner & tries to reform him by lifting his self-confidence.
After reading so many nice things about HIM, doesn’t it sounds exciting to be God? Just give it a try, if not for a day, then maybe for an hour or even for a few minutes. All the Best!
