Rashtriya Swayamsiddh Samman Award – another feather in JSPL cap

Good governance is a sine qua non for eradicating poverty and promoting development. But merely having good governance is not enough– it has to be pro-people and pro-active. System fails when people with ability don’t have authority and people with authority don’t have ability. Good Governance is not plain philosophy. Concrete steps have to be taken to realize its goals. Good governance depends on ability to take responsibility by both administration as well as people.
