Written, directed and produced by Jha, ‘Pareeksha – The Final Test’ which is inspired by real events makes a sharp comment on the education system. Prakash Jha told taazakhabarnews.com that good quality education, which has become the monopoly of the rich, remains inaccessible to the masses. Resonating from the real experience of an IPS officer Abhayanand, who is the former DGP of Bihar, this story gives a glimpse of hope for the poor who deserve the opportunity.
Talking about the international premiere at SIFF, Jha said “It’s a great honour for our film, Pareeksha to have its international premiere at one of the biggest and most prestigious film festivals in South Asia.We are delighted that the festival is taking place physically and our film will actually be screened in theatres.”
